CROSSVILLE (WATE) - A film crew from L. A. is looking for extras for an independent movie set to shoot in Crossville next month. The director of the untitled project has shown at Sundance and the executive producer made the most recent "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."
Camp Nakanawa just outside of Crossville is one of the movie's settings. It's billed as a psychological thriller based around a snake-handling cult.
There are still some supporting roles left to be cast locally and those actors will be paid. All you need to do is send a photo to crossvilleproject@gmail.com
Actors looking for a bigger role should send a headshot and resume, and those with movie experience wanting to work behind the scenes can send a resume.
