BBC1 HEALTH SHOW 

There are millions of people in the UK whose lifestyle means they are at risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes, Liver Disease and Heart Disease, however these three diseases are preventable if people take action soon enough.

Maverick TV are organising a huge health screening event as part of major BBC One programme.  They will screen over 1,000 people for the warning signs of these diseases and, those that take part will learn whether they are at risk and what they can do to get their health back on track.  After the check-up they will get further advice and information to take to their doctor.

This opportunity is open to people from all over, however filming will be taking place in Manchester, so they are particularly interested in speaking to those that are local or live in commuting distance.
