Searching for a professional White British female actress age between 55-65, to appear in a short film for a national water charity aid. 

Date:  Thursday the 1st of November from 2 pm - midnight.

This is a paid role: Rates tbc depending on experience.

Character breakdown: Looking for a young great Aunt or Grandmother type figure. A woman who lives on her own in the leafy suburbs of London.

Director: We see the exterior of a house in a quiet darkened street in leafy suburbia, the façade lit by the nearby street lamp. It’s quiet and it’s home - a place of sanctuary and safety. Inside, a woman is tucked up in bed, asleep…

In the course of the short film we take this situation and turn it upside down. What if this lady couldn’t wake needing the toilet without fearing for her life and safety, when we take that safety for granted. It is unthinkable. When our woman wakes and makes her way along the corridor she doesn’t go into the bathroom but rather tiptoes fearfully through the house and into the night outside. She is terrified as she makes her way to a clearing where she can relieve herself – it is something she does every night. Just as millions of women and girls do across the world.
